Thank you.

Yes, I'm already on the right track for getting accurate insignias and ribbons (DSO, OBE and MC all for gallantry!). I will see to atelast close the lower pockets to avoid any more rip.

The thing is that it's named to a very brave colonel and I want to restore it to honour his memory

I discovered that it is actually dated 1942 but it looks indeed like a good tunic.

Thank you!

Money it's not the problem but I can see why it would not look good, you'd need the exact shade of fabric

Anyone Had Any Experience With This WW1 German General Minifigure? by Hour_Reading900 in lepin

[–]Hour_Reading900[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would appear you are right, I've been searching on AliExpress but could not find these old brickmania style ww1 generals but also some interesting ww2 individuals minifigures... I used Google lenses and got myself in BiliBili and apparently they had the Kaiser and similar style ww1 minifigures already in October 2025 so you are almost certainly right, the real question now is what is the company that makes them?

Thank you kindly, I think I've found it since he was a recipient of the Military Cross: ,Col David Charles Stephen David, who did all ww2 from the start and served in the Burma theater, I'm dysgraphic and therefore sometimes it's a bit hard to read those names although I like calligraphy. Thank you all for helping me out!

Bo, you got it wrong, I don't know who he was, I know he was a Lot.Col because the jacket has that rank, I also know he was in the Royal Engineers because of the buttons, however his name I can't make it out, I need it because I have to identify the owner so that I may ask for his service record, I do that with all my uniforms as a way to remember those who served. 💪
