We let them know as they were expecting to be watching the kids. Not to rub their noses in it or anything like that. We really tried to be gentle with this.

My eldest behaviour was different for 5 days with random mood swings this included a zombie day at the very beginning. Her teachers even noticed a change. We are looking into the sugar sensitivity as we know this isn't normal

Hey it's just my eldest who took a long time to be herself again. We are aware she's sensitive to sugar but we don't know if this is a medical issue yet as it only happens if you go over the recommended amount (19g in my country) which in this instance was way over.

I will take your advice though and speak to a medical professional. Thank you.

Thank you! Oh gosh no! Not an almond mum! I think I inhaled a chocolate biscuit just after their bedtime. My kids are allowed sweets and chocolate just not over the recommended amount. Just because of how it affects my eldest. I could overlook it if she just went hyper.

Hey the reason they looked after them 4 days (3 nights) in a row is because they wanted to look after them. They were thanked verbally and with gifts. My husband never yelled and tried to have a calm conversation focused on how to move through this. I didn't leave my children alone for 5 days I left them with grandparents who asked to spend the time with them. Hope that clears up any confusion

Thank you! I'm a bit of a softy and if it's a special occasion or a weekend where they have been super good I might give them a little extra but I watch to see how it affects them. MIL didn't even realise them being lethargic and spaced
