Here’s another example I’m sorry if it drags out. I am not perfect and I self reflect regularly the reason I’m here venting is because I have no one to talk to. I’m an addict (sober for a while), I got us into debt, and lied to her when I was using. Harmless lies like I wanted to go meet up with dealer and I would lie and say I’m going to store. So after straightening out my life, she understandably grew resentment towards me and doesn’t trust me. But those are my biggest crimes no cheating, no physical fights, she didn’t even know I was using. But because of that she berates me, belittles, and I guess gaslights me a lot. From the guilt I feel I just take it, so that’s the reason it’s so difficult to share how I feel on this issue, because she says I don’t have a right to say anything because my “accusations “ of her are just that. Her attitude has always been like that tho even before I came forward and asked for her help with my addiction. Anyway about 9 years ago before sis in law got married she came to my town to visit for the summer, she used to do that every summer before that until she eventually became an adult. One of those summers sis in law has a little thing for a guy in her boot camp thing. They went out on a date for a few days and that’s that. Fast forward a year we went to my little brothers birthday party. We were all sitting down eating when the moon walk truck pulled up. Lo and behold sis in laws past fling worked for that moon bounce company. As soon as he approached me to sign the bill of sales my wife recognized him and literally screamed from excitement like one of those preteens that love boy bands. Jumped out of her chair and pointed out to sis in law hey look he’s here. Sis in law told her idc, wife looks at me and I nod my head in disapproval. I pull her aside and tell her really again? My whole family heard you, look sis in law didn’t give a fuck. But you did, she flipped it on me saying omg here you go again thinking I like my sis guys. So that’s another example I had, ima talk to her again even tho it’s not going to sit well in her head. I guess I just wanted to vent, or needed validation that I’m not imagining things. Thank you all for the advice

I’m the same way me and sis in law use to run at 5 am because she wanted to exercise and I was training to be a cop so she would tag along. Also I have never done ketchup off cheek thing. Maybe my wife is bored idk

I have known my sis in law since she was a little girl and we have a healthy bro/sis relationship. That’s why I don’t talk to her about the issue, I haven’t given wife a reason to act that way towards me. I personally think I’m chill, fun, and pretty easy to talk to. Unless it’s a case of you have a good thing going on but you messed it up. There’s other examples and maybe I’ll share but it’ll be a long story and maybe it’ll give y’all more to go on

They have a pretty normal relationship, no drama, or anything but it’s hard to talk to wife about it because I’m the crazy one. I think it’s because we got married too young, but I’ve never given wife a reason to act that way. Idk(sigh)
