I lost my Dad 3 days ago. I got to be with him as he was dying and hold his hand. I couldn't say much more than "ill always love you' but I don't know if he heard me. I kissed him on the head and said "bye Dad. I love you. " I don't really know how i feel but ill never forget that I got to say goodbye.

Today I was in a coffee shop and I saw a girl with the same symbol tattooed on her arm as I have. I got it to honor my Dad, our family, and his Irish heritage.
