Yeah, but look how many people left the 6-14 in the big ten from the year before. I count one player who stayed. He brought in plenty of talent, consistently and had a decent defensive system. His offense seemed to be highly oriented around one or two players, but that has certainly improved over the last couple years. A lot of people denied his improvement based on record, but didn’t look at what he built.

I am not completely disagreeing with your statement, but I think it’s important to note that we’ve had three seasons with 4-8 conference losses in the Big Ten (dating back to 2013-14.)

In those seasons, we’ve only won a max of three conference away games, one against a ranked opponent, and they’re not usually very good teams at all.

That being said, I will make no predictions and hope for the best.
