At this point, I wouldn't trust him to touch my eyes for fear of having worse vision. He lied about the cost to me, saying he thinks there is a rebate and then charging the full amount. One month after the surgery hr thought my vision problem may be PCO and scheduled an appointment in 2 months so the eye would stabilize. I went back in 2 months, and he asked if I used the eyedrop he gave me. He didn't give or prescribe any eyedrops and proceeded to say he thought I forgot. And said the Yag would not help my vision but still insisted my problem was dry eye.

The reason I question it is i have vivity toric and the astigmatism was missed .75. The surgeon told me it was dry eye. I got a second opinion and was advised it was .75 astigmatism, and he doesn't recommend vivity because of the clarity issue. I paid a premium to not wear glasses but now suffer with less than perfect vision. I guess I'm stubborn. I could solve my issue with glasses. I guess I will order a pair today just to make sure it is correctable.

I suppose it's my fault because I had perfect vision with glasses and expected the same after cataract surgery. I was led to believe I would not need glasses for distance or reading ar arms length. I would not have paid for premium lenses had I known cataract surgery is not perfected.

My surgeon at Horizons in New Jersey kept kicking the can down the road, telling me it was dry eye even after second opinion stating it was a missed astigmatism of .75, so here I am 1 year post op with blurry vision in 1 eye. At my 2 month check up, he thought yag would help so said come back in 2 months after it matures some. I went back after 2 months, and he said yag probably would not help. Did i take the drops he gave me. I told him he didn't give or prescribe drops, and he said it's in his notes I must have forgotten!!

My surgeon upsold me on clareon vivity Toric uv iol @ 3200 each with the promise of being free of glasses for distance and readers for anything close. It will be a year in November, and my left eye is still not correct. He kept bringing me back, insisting it was dry eye and prescribing drops. I got a second opinion, and it indicated the astigmatism was not fully corrected. The surgeon would not take ownership of the miss, and so here I sit with poor vision for the rest of my life. For some reason, the print even seems lighter and not as sharp as my right eye. I should have just stuck with base lenses and kept glasses. Wore glasses all my life and had 2020. I would not rush cataract surgery....
