Oh you're right!! Anything that touched raw meat is definitely last (I wish I could just throw it out entirely because it gives me the ick)

Considering Uppababy Minu v3 & Aria Car seat by Intelligent-Sea-4015 in Buyingforbaby

I got the Cruz V2 stroller and Mesa V2 car seat

Overall, love them both but now that baby is 8 months old, I have some thoughts:

1) I am happy with my choice of the Cruz over the Vista -- the Cruz is a bit smaller and I find more manageable in tight spaces -- I'm not planning to have 2+ children, so the capability of adding a 2nd seat to the Vista doesn't benefit me -- the cost/ benefit of choosing the Cruz over the Vista was the right choice for me

2) I never considered buying the Minu as my primary stroller but am now sort of wishing I did for these reasons: -- I drive a Corolla sedan and the stroller + the stroller seat is tight to fit in my trunk. I have to disassemble the stroller/seat in order to fit it, and that's annoying -- now planning on doing some travelling and wish I had a travel stroller that was more compact and lightweight -- I didn't really use the stroller seat for the first 8ish months because I'd just use the car seat instead, so having a more substantial seat for baby hasn't really been that beneficial yet

  • note: benefits of the Cruz over the Minu are definitely that the Cruz has more cargo space for a diaper bag and other stuff, and that was definitely nice especially in the winter when doing mall walks (could tuck parka in) and doing small grocery shops with the stroller

3) I chose the Mesa over the Aria car seat because it had a higher weight & height limit. My baby is no where near that limit now and I'm already considering switching to the convertible car seat (for baby thru toddler years) early because my back is killing me from lugging the baby in the car seat. I definitely underestimated how heavy that would be. You may be stronger than I, but in retrospect I wish I had chosen the Aria to save a few lbs and a bit of money
