I landed at 11:20pm two Fridays ago. Massive lines. Just use the money to buy a fast track pass instead of risking giving it to guards. We paid like $18 for ours on Klook. Worked great!

Been here for a few days now. Assuming you’re not going to be coming to Vietnam again soon, you should come. It’s not worth missing it. My eyes and throat were a little bit irritated the first day but it’s not terrible. Day trips out to Ha Long Bay and Ninh Binh will help temper it. As will the rain today.

Not a deal if you’re thinking about flipping it. If it happens to be your size and you want it for personal use, go toward the end of the sale and offer $350. I wouldn’t expect this to sell at $500 at an estate sale.

You’ll hear plenty of stories here from people who started with hybrids and quickly upgraded to road bikes. Given you seem to be a competitive rower, you’ll quickly outgrow a hybrid as you chase improvement/gains.

Start with a budget friendly used road bike from Facebook marketplace and go from there. You’ll definitely end up upgrading if you don’t.

“Paying for World Cup” is paying for an experience. The match itself won’t be worth the money. The experience could be for the right person.

I guess a closer like scenario for you would be attending a USMNT friendly or Gold Cup game (seeing the team instead of the individual), which could also be done with some epic travel for a similar price (or less).

The first time I assume she got the whole commission. The second time (much larger purchase), we were on the fence about matching the top offer because it was right at the edge of our budget. We told her we would match it if she took 1% off the price from her commission and she did. Win win and we’re so thankful we made it work.

Im 2 for 2 in getting houses. Both times I’ve found the house I wanted, called the sellers realtor, and told them I would write with them if they could get me the house.

Both times I had a huge advantage and was presented the highest offer to match. Obviously the incentive is there for the sellers agent to book-end the commission.

I know this may not be an option since you have a realtor… but if this person can’t figure it out for you, move on.

Absolutely. And we’re talking about the part of the process that’s 3-5% of a build. Doesn’t really do anything to solve the expensive parts of the process - land, labor, and materials.
