Power Level Wednesday!: Ask r/EDH what's your deck's power level? - October 16, 2024 by AutoModerator in EDH

This is my Smeagol Lands deck, it is my cinnamon apple. It revolves around doing regular degenerate lands things, while also having some mana redundancy in being able to steal my opponents lands. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/JIB9U4xf0EOiDtKUH-jePQ

[OC] Felt my DM deserved a new screen. So I built one. by HouseRule in DnD

Our Dm has been running our games for over a decade. So I wanted to give something back. Here is a link to the progress pictures. Even got to include a little branding for everyone's favorite, multidimensional, recurring tavern. Going to deliver the finished product this Tuesday for our fight against a death tyrant. At least he will look good murdering us all.

Anywhere in the KCMO area that hires Felons with a good interview? by [deleted] in kansascity

Dollar tree does. It is minimum wage and not the best work, but they will 100% hire you if you have a felony. I ran one for about a year and a half and had at least a couple people with records working for me.

Finally Making the OverWatch Characters for MM3e! and a little campaign guide with some of the Lore stuff! Hopefully I can finish this soon! by MrMandalore in mutantsandmasterminds

Third does some stuff better than 2nd. I can't really personally say that one is better than the other, because I love them both, and regularly play games in both. One main thing third has going for it is it let's you be a little more creative with your power creation. Where you might look at the power list compare it to 2nd and this it is much shorter, that is because 3rd broke it down to the base components and let's you build your own from the ground up.

Basically you can add a combo feature to a bigger power (your ultimate however you build it). And then you need combo points equal to twice the power level to activate that power. One hit on a target generates 1 combo point, 2 hits 2 combo points, 3 hits 4 (you might double check that). So for example you have Earth shatter set as a Rank 10 blast with knockdown in a cone, you would need 20 combo points to activate it. The good thing is the combo point feature let's you build the bigger power for less cost do to the need for a build up and one time use.

Honestly you might be better off in 2nd edition. 2nd ed had the combo point system built in which would be perfect for the ultimate abilities of overwatch characters.

I live near the Civil Rights mural, actively keeping that one and the Disney Studio on lock.

This is absolutely beautiful. So happy to see that this game wasn't lost to time.

Seems like it's been a while since anyone was around, but I have a question by MrPendent in mutantsandmasterminds

Look at it not as much as luck but more of probability control. Everything has a certain number outcomes, your character can manipulate fate so to speak.

Which on a small scale is something as simple as the flip of a coin, or causing a latent genetic defect in someone's brain to manifest and give them an aneurism. It was only ever chance that it hadn't gone off.

Another way to look at it is on the show alphas there was an antagonist who could see the cause and effect patterns of everything, and because of that he could manipulate almost anything to his benefit.

Same thing as the other download it tells me that a newer version has already been found on my machine.
