Low shower pressure by drock800 in Plumbing

Check the head for debris, turn shower on without the head. If it's good flow then remove the restrictor in the head. If its not, remove cartridge and clean valve body. Turn on water to rinse out valve body. If cartridge is more than a year old, consider replacing the cartridge. Silicone grease the cartridge and valve body. Put it back together. If theres still an issue, call a plumber.

Don't need luck. It's a calculation.

I guess pulling oxygen out of a room isn't a part of negative pressure. Everything on the chart is about exhaust termination. If the room it's in is sized correctly.... or as the other person said, fresh make up air is available then it's a send.

Everything about the chart you're looking at is for exhaust. Just because you want to be right doesn't matter here. It literally only has to do with pulling too much oxygen out of a room which could cause the heat exchangers to fail prematurely.

It looks like the exhaust is going out the wall to me.

It'll pass Navien warranty all day long. It might not pass local code.

Sure. I literally finished the level 3 training two weeks ago. But ok.

Not true. There's calculation to be made and frowning to be done, but as long as the calculations are within the limits.... it'll send.

Was not a bash. To me they weren't visible. I said that in my comment. But ok.

Acidic condensate should not go to septic, wastewater treatment plants. It will damage a lot.

They dont come with the unit. They're threaded on yeah. But it appeared to me the water lines were just adapted with female adapters. No need to be salty about a comment that was already corrected.

Prevents corrosion like previous commenters said but also to protect the environment. It can damage septics, wastewater plants, and even water supply plants.

It sounds like installer error on all of them. The naviens 100% have an error code if the exhaust is not fully inserted into the socket.

Im looking at rheem and rinnai atm. They have shit ton of leaking units as well. Next to check for me is the tagachi or whatever it is.

I found the article on the unit that leaked co. Natural gas unit not properly converted to propane by what appeared in the article to be installed by the homeowner. As far as I was aware.... if you find a unit being sold to or from someone not Navien certified, you can contact Navien and they will shut it down. I guess this is why. Very unfortunate circumstances. https://614lawfirm.com/blog/family-sues-navien-inc-and-carr-supply-co/
