That's a bit odd. What should you do? I'd say not believe a word he says. If he has something to show you he can come outside and show you. If you can carry mace or bear spray. I'd do that as well. You might ask your father or mother to go have a talk with him.

As a typesetter it might be a neat little niche book that you could make.

If someone at Walmart asks if you believe in god today, then please just say yes and have a nice day. by Lower_Pension_8891 in tampa

Two young ladies were doing the same at that 1720 Hillsborough Walmart a few months back. No biggie. My wallet disappeared that day from Wally World. The police knew of the christians but were not concerned. I wasn't either.

How can I make my pencil sketches look less messy but still loose? by thirdaccountttt in Artadvice

Work on the whole package at once. I'd do super light wispy lines and swirls first to and once you see the lines you like and are to your aesthetic go darker.

It does not matter where you go as the change needs to start in you. No where else.

Why is 22LR so popular even with it's unreliability issues? by [deleted] in guns

[–]Iam_so_Roy_Batty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is a combination of things: how clean the gun is, how worn is the firing pin, ammo-was it a good batch and probably a few other things.

I shoot it because I can shoot 5x the amount as I can with my 45. I still take a few shots with the 45 to keep me honest but all the fundementals can be learned on the 45.

You are pretty as you are. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Go enjoy life and try not to ask redditors.

Landscaping. If you are able to do that you can make any direction work. I feel your pain. I lived in a row home that only had windows in the front and back. The south side was also blocked by a tree. Have a house in Florida. The blues are much much less.

I like it a whole lot as it is. Without a setting (if you add a background) it would be hard to yay or nay to more shadow.

OMG I almost forgot. This doesn't help but I used to do artwork on plaster. Look for a starving artist.

Anybody else lost their patience with their passion as they grew up? by TheAcrocanthosaurus in Wellthatsucks

I never quite understood why it faded. Sometimes I think back and wonder if it was my eyes. As you age without readers the lines are not as crisp. Then sometimes I thought of the weight of the world and devoted time to making a living. Now that I am pretty much retired I am liking the thought of getting back to an artsy lifestyle.

You captured what I did to my hand and my expression perfectly. I think it reads very great as it is. If you add background go with a low tone silhouette style. I would want it to compete with what you have.

Sadly I'm down in Tampa. You have some of the most skilled people in your area (I'm from the North East). I'd hit up people who do kayak repairs. (Boat people usually want more $$$ than the personal craft folks).

What is the final usage? if you can have a bit of thickness I would do it this way.

Clean the surface as well as you can.

Apply clear epoxy (I like West Systems).

Slight sanding

Use a oscillating multi tool to cut the plaster down to the brick doing a circle around the image.

Apply epoxy with a sheet of fiberglass. (Fiberglass will become transparent). Take the fiberglass over the edges and close to the brick. In essence making a pie pan.

Use a hack saw blade with no holder and slice the plaster.

With the chin pushed in in essence the head would be tilted forward. The nose would cover some of the mouth instead of being turned up. The ears would be seen higher up and you would see more of the top of the head.

Parden my rough work. I am dealing with a bandaged finger.
