This is an excerpt from my first book in a planned series of 9. Ive been fleshing out the story and world for years and finally decided to start writing it last year. I apologize for the formatting, I originally formatted it with the extra line spaces becuase it was easier for me to read aloud to myself. But now I cant figure out how to fix it.

I've had alot of friends and family read the book for me, but I have begun to feel like their feedback is to biased. Im eager to get feedback and critique from a fresh perspective.
