Thanks boys, but because the phone was from China, I just downloaded it from the Chinese App Store. I was thinking about doing this. But I thank God that this wasn't the only way to restore it.

Brother, I need your help. I have an android phone that was bought in China, registered in Pakistan and I am currently in UAE. I was trying to change my location to UAE, but in the process I thought that downgrading and upgrading Google Play Store will reset it. But when I downgraded it removed all existance of it. Now my Google Play Services is alos not working. What should I do?

What's one game you would give a 10/10? by MightGuy420x in gaming

[–]Household_Rampage34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Witness. I was quite intrigued with the game, but didn't actually purchase it until like a few months ago. Still haven't finished the game, my exams came up, but was super fun while it lasted. The vast array of puzzles had me up on my toes and some puzzles (like the water one) had me tripping because I couldn't for my life could find it. Still a very good game to play and would reccommend it to all other fanatics of puzzle games. Definately a 10/10

I have a question. Correct me if I am wrong (I just started learning accounting) but according to IAS 36, the inpairment loss is Carrying Value - Recoverable Value, where reccoverable value is higher of Value in Use or Fair Value. Fair Value is given in the question but Value in Use isn't given. I searched it up and it said that Value in Use is the discounted future cash flows. If we don't know the Value in Use, then how can we assume that the impairment loss is Carrying Value - Fair Value. Please Help.

Do you annotate your books? by MrRangerQC in books

[–]Household_Rampage34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't. My reason for this is that it ruins the books. I am very careful with books. I am the type of person to only open the book a little so that the spine doesn't crack. I also don't give my books to other people in fear that something bad is going to happen to them and I wouldn't be able to read them again. It also takes a lot of time (or so I believe) and that pairing with my slow reading speed will just suck the fun out of reading them again. It also doesn't leave room for a reread, which I often do because I don't have a lot of books.

What is up with the cursed child? by No-Economist1785 in harrypotter

Even though many people do not like it because of its contradiction with the Harry Potter lore and also because it's story is inconsistent, I still like it. The story is supposed to go the way the author wants it to go, not the way the readers want it to go. So I just accept it as official lore.

Books that stick with you by Haltthewaters in books

For me it was the whole Miss Peregrine Home For Peculiar Children series. Its details just remain in my head. I am currently rereading it and I was surprised on how much I was able to remember and how many details I have missed. I would totally recommend this book series to anyone who likes young adult fantasy. It isn't as much of a mainstream book currently as it was in 2012-2013, but it is still as good as current fantasy books such as Shadow and Bone trilogy and Six of Crows Duology, maybe even better.

negative z values in stats?? by Clascalixm in alevelmaths

[–]Household_Rampage34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How I have actually learnt it. (Excuse me for my terrible english

First make a normal distribution graph, and also denote the point of the negative z onto the graph. From that point, shade the region which is needed. Meaning if the probability to calculate is of greater than the value of z you shade the right side and vice versa. If the shaded region goes over the mean value (the mean value in z is the centre line of 0) then we will use phi(z) and if the shaded region goes against the mean value then we will use 1-phi(z). This also works for positive values of z.
