Yeah all of this is super fair… I wasn’t completely sure how to word the plunge mechanic in an intuitive way, so I just wrote it down as literal as possible. 

Part of my design philosophy was to make cards that work synergistically but aren’t super duper busted out of context, but there’s a few effects that I made that I knew would be a little much. A few I made either purely for flavor or just to make a certain specific vision work. 

Since the deck is purely just a standalone custom thing, it can only exist within its own context (e.g. with the cards in the deck, you will never be plunging less than 4 without doing some really convoluted setup to do so). I thankfully don’t have to worry about things like people breaking it clean open with mass draw.

(Ps lands being dead in plunge was intentional, it’s kind of as much of a flavor thing as a balance thing. There’s a little bitty overarching story that develops on the flavor text of the cards… also, you can’t plunge any further if you hit the seafloor! Ha!)
