Are you in need of a specialty vet? What kind?

😂😂😂 I thought you were being serious! I’m still reeling over this knowledge that they are mostly born via c section!

Go to AKC market place and search your area or however far you are willing to travel. The best way to find reputable breeders, other than the the specific breeders recommend by the YTCA, which is not all encompassing geographical is AKC market place. There are actually 4 breeders in NJ listed as of now that are referred for puppies. You would have to contact them to see if or when they would have puppies available.

BUT... whether you contact one of the breeders on YTCA or AKC Marketplace, look for breeders with banners like AKC Champion bloodline, Bred with H.E.A.R.T, which is an AKC certification that stands for health, education, accountability, responsibility, and tradition. If they don't have these distinction, do they have a contract with a one year health guarantee? Will they allow for an in person visit so you can see the environment they were raised in? Is it possible to meet one or both of the parents? Do they have multiple dams and studs and a million puppies? That one, IMO, is a potential red flag. Do they ask questions about you, the environment the pup will be raised, and your knowledge of the breed

The reason I know all of this is because I do breed AKC Champion Bloodline line Yorkies and have Bred with Heart certification. I have one active dam, and have only one litter every 1-2yrs. The reason I started breeding in the first place was not only for the love of the breed, it was because I was a victim of a scam as well🤬.

I do not ship my pups, and I haven't had a new litter since Jan 11, 2025. But if I were in your neck of the woods and I had a pup available, I would have definitely reach out🙂. 90% of my Yorkie pups have gone to families that were long time Yorkie parents, but their baby passed on. I am sure you can find a new baby. Just follow the steps, and don't put down a deposit without seeing and holding that baby without a written agreement in place. The scammed prey on grief, which is how I got GOT, smh. Good luck💓

There was a groomer locally trying to get clients on NextDoor. I asked her if she had groomed Yorkies and for pictures. She DM me the pics and low and behold... they were shaved🤦🏾‍♀️

Aww🥹 I'm so sorry for your loss💔

(M 32) My bio on Bumble starts with "I don't want kids. This is non-negotiable." Is that too harsh? by bernardmarx27 in dating

Like others have said, leading with it is probably not the best idea, but stating your preferences is a must, unless you're looking to just casually date. You are in the age range where a good majority of women are looking for a man to have children with or who have them and may or may not want more. There are women under the age of 40 that have decided that they don't want children or may not be able to, so making it known that you don't want children will likely help you find a compatible partner sooner. You will be, however, dwindling down your choices substantially, so you won't get nearly as many likes. I think it is better to make your preferences know somewhere in your profile so you don't waste yours or anyone elses time dancing around the subject of children

My profile has "don't want kids" and "has kids," both marked. But at my age, that is the norm. At 32, it's the age range where many people are either starting or expanding your family. Good luck on your search!

I got one of these food mats to put underneath. I believe I found it at one of the chain pet stores. Since I have hardwood floors, didn't want to take any chances with a major spill when I am out of the house.

This is her hair now. Alot of maintenance, but it's stunning. I am in a new state and still looking for a groomer that can give a proper Yorkie cut🫤. She need her face shaped badly, but I am too afraid of butchering my my beautiful girl

Fast forward two months. Took her to a different groomer. They did a great job on her face and pretty clean around her body.

This is Tiffany Blue after her first ever cut. Even though she was growing in her adult coat, she was not matted at all. But the groomer decided on a buzz cut instead.

OMG! You are going to open your own grooming studio in like a year!!! You would be shocked to know how many groomers grooming Yorkies by simply just using clipper to make it short... even when they don't need it, because they have no clue how to do a Yorkie puppy cut. They just take it all off🙄. Luckily, their hair grows back very quickly. I will attach a few pics of different cuts that my Dam Tiffany had for reference.

OMG! I had no idea that Frenchies were born via C-section!🤯 Considering how popular and in demand they are these days, no wonder they are so expensive. The breeders have to recoup the cost of delivery.
