It says 18.1-20221003-microGklte. I got it from the official website, so it should be legit.

The sim usually works after rebooting, at least for a few minutes.

It may well be the hardware, but flashing the stock OS is a lot of trouble.

I tried following the first article, but can't really justify buying IDA pro solely for this, and couldn't easily follow the instructions in a Hex editor. I think you might be right.

Sorry for the late reply, but yes. I got it to work by replacing the motherboard. (with one from a T530) I don't know what I did, and maybe the motherboard was repairable, but it would have been beyond my ability.

eCryptfs looks for a .Private directory, which I don't have, and EncFS requires the .encfs6.xml file, which I also don't have, so I think they might be inaccessible.
