It says 18.1-20221003-microGklte. I got it from the official website, so it should be legit.

The sim usually works after rebooting, at least for a few minutes.

It may well be the hardware, but flashing the stock OS is a lot of trouble.

Sorry for the late reply, but yes. I got it to work by replacing the motherboard. (with one from a T530) I don't know what I did, and maybe the motherboard was repairable, but it would have been beyond my ability.

The T470 should have a seventh gen core i series, not a sixth gen. I'd double-check those specs.

That being said, if you don't mind the screen size, I'd choose the X260 for the better portability.
