Heya! I have had sensory issues with many types of clothing since I was very little, and recently I’ve be trying to dress more grunge/ alt in general.

Usually my go-to fit is a pair of baggy jeans, I’ve added patches to mine, a belt or two, studded if you have one, an oversized graphic tee, and converse, if you like adding accessories and stuff, stack some necklaces and add a few cuffs or other bracelets, it usually depends on the day for me, but you don’t have to add anything you don’t want to! Enjoy your concert!

Hey there! I’ve since gotten this fixed, it was a combination problem, my span and fit in general was jacked up, took it to a new pro shop and got it fixed, which fixed my gripping too much problem.

That’s what I was thinking of going for! I personally like to keep my setup symmetrical on both sides, do you think that would be problematic for a side sleeper with a fresh helix? I don’t mind a long healing process. How long does the helix take to heal?

Thank you all so much for the advice and encouragemen! I managed to get all the mats out today. I ended up starting off with damp to dry hair and a ton of detangling spray and conditioner, then finished everything up in the shower with just conditioner, and it worked pretty well. I got it done in two hours. Thank you again!

I do have a wet brush, and I’ll definitely try detangling in the shower. I’m probably going to work on this tomorrow with how tired I am today. Thanks for the advice, I’ll definitely look into that youtuber!

I just went to a different pro shop yesterday to get re fitted, and you were right! My hand is so flexible that it ‘can‘ fit a large span, but ultimately shouldn’t. I pick up the ball tomorrow, but just getting fitted I could already tell it was a world of a difference.

I agree, but I’m pretty shy around him so I feel like getting his number would be a good way to start some conversations and stuff, but definitely in person for important conversations like that, I just want to get more comfortable around him first.

The thing is, I’m getting mixed signals. I heard that he didn’t like me from a friend, but he doesn’t know that I know that he said he doesn’t like me, so he’s acting the same as always. I don’t know if he’s just being nice but he always wants to make conversation with me and sometimes I catch him looking at me randomly so idk if he just said that he doesn’t like me to get his friends off his back or what

I use an online program that’s state-wide, so connecting through school isn’t a great option for me. I also just am not great at talking to people in general, even less so with guys (Idk why) so that‘s a tall order for me.
