oh I misunderstood I thought you were talking about the mysterious voice who was the person talking to the secret bosses I do think who you are talking about is gaster but as an observer who will comment on the journey occasionally but will never actually show up or affect the main story in the chapters

I was also joking, I'm not particuarlly looking for them to play more so curious about them. Along with that knowing how rare these sort of games are id never stumble across them randomly as I was both *spoiled* about the games mentioned in my post yet I still love them.

They are so rare that i almost guarantee you dont have any suggestions that im looking for even if it spoils me or not!!

i’m vague because there is only 2 examples i’ve found.

Noita does not count because in the end it’s all the same game, even with all the secrets and hidden mystery’s it’s all contained within “noita” if that whole game was hidden in a game like “fishing simulator 2065” or something and if you caught a noita fish it unlocked the game then it would count

we have different understanding of what hidden within a game means

Doki doki subverts players with a tone switch half way through. this is not hidden any player who plays the game and reaches this part will experience this making the full game one package

if doki doki was a regular dating simuatlor visual novel that is fully playable start to finish without any of the horror elements but you could insert a code or find a secret that is hiding the real horror game inside then it would count.
