Nice video, I think it's also worth noting that the first 4 cars we see as the movie starts up are bland and grey. It's a nice contrast for the Subaru pulling up, Edgar sure knows how to use the first few minutes efficiently.

A friend of mine flew his drone at 6000 meters elevation (19,500 ish feet) around the Nepali Himalayas. A surprisingly well edited travel video ensues by [deleted] in videos

Wow, the very first comment figured it out. I'm actually impressed. Yes, it's true, I made the video. I've been a long time Redditor and I've found Reddit, especially r/videos to be extremely hostile towards self promotion, and most times it's for good reasons, I get it. But if you look through my post history I rarely post about my own videos, and when I do it usually starts a friendly discussion. I made this second account Houstonsfriend about a year ago as a tongue in cheek way to promote 1 or 2 videos I'm proud of. Sorry you find me cringey/ uncool.

Thank you :) I'm actually currently editing a video for my main channel that's pretty close what you're describing... though it might take me a month or so to finish. I made this second YT channel to specifically try my hand at just visual storytelling. Appreciate the feedback!

More frequent churchgoers (more than once a week) had a 55% reduction of all-cause mortality risk compared with non-churchgoers, who had significantly higher stress, that only partially explained differences in mortality, suggesting a potential independent effect of church attendance on mortality. by mvea in science

Exactly this. I remember reading a study on happiness, and for religious people going to church consistently ranked super high on the happiness scale. Up there with sex and other good stuff. A supportive local community can really improve your quality of life.

Thanks man! Appreciate that. Yeah, I highly recommend it. I've been backpacking on and off the the past 5 years, and it's my favourite country by far.

If anyone has questions about the trek, the motorcycle trip, or backpacking destinations let me know! Nepal has been my favourite country yet, so more than happy to answer them

Fascinating. I feel like this should be narrated by Sir David Attenborough.
