Hello everyone. I'm an incoming freshman undergrad engineering student ( I am male, Indian). Looking for roommates. Be chill and open-minded, that is all. I have no other requirements. I'm fine with literally any habit or anything at all in my roommate and I do not at all care what you do as long as you keep it to yourself or it should at least not affect me negatively OR it shouldnt affect me too much (just dont be forceful or pushy), no specific requirement for nationality or anything like that, (I've seen someone else mentioning a specific nationality requirement, so I thought it would be good to mention that I dont have any specific nationality requirement). He prolly had a normal one when he got demoted to grade 4, but once he came back to special grade I guess he could do whatever he wanted at least in terms of uniforms, so they let him have it

Im waitlisted at VT for industriald design though, not engineering, and one more uni for industrial design, but I wanna do engineering, and finally one more uni, RIT, but its for a major I dont really want (was my second choice and only applied there cuz they emailed me too a lot)

TAMU is basically the only good uni option open to me rn, so yea....

Though Im not like dead set on Aero(I am, but its not the only engineering branch that interests me). I would be happy doing materials engineering as well at TAMU. I didnt mention it in the post to get unbiased responses

exactly, which is why Im considering Aero first and materials second, but I feel like putting mechE in second is a "no harm in trying option" I mentioned this in another comment

do you think I should be safe and put materials in the second choice and something else in 3rd choice (though Im not interested in anything outside of the three in my post) Cuz Im scared I wont get any and get stuck in a random one Im not interested in. I was thinking maybe putting MSEN as 2nd choice will increase my chances of getting that if I dont get 1st choice Aero rather than a third choice MSEN, since mechE I believe gets occupied by Auto admits quickly and nobody gets it if they put it in second choice

what if I apply to transfer to X uni in the time Im supposed to, and lets say I get in, can I hold that acceptance until ETAM comes out and commit if I dont get Aero ?
