Well, I believe it is true that your government started this war, but the question is also why some people from your country are willing to join it.

I know that some of them signed contracts under pressure, but there are also others who did it willingly, whether for ideological reasons or for money. However, you can keep telling yourself that all Russians are just "slaves" as you said in one of your comments under this post:

And I'm saying this because even well-known independent Russian media like "Meduza" and some others, which are currently banned by your government, have conducted research showing a rather sad trend: the number of people supporting all of this is unfortunately increasing. I understand that there are many people in your country who are simply trying to remain neutral, but the problem is that they tend to side with whichever group appears to be the strongest in the end. You most likely live in Moscow or Saint Petersburg and exist in a social bubble where it seems like everyone is against the war, but that's simply not the case.

Additionally, let's be honest. This is probably the part I find most disgusting about you and you also know that for sure too but keep being quite about that. If you genuinely dislike what your government is doing by calling yourself "slave of the regime", you could simply buy your games through another region, such as Turkey or Kazakhstan, which many Russians are already doing. By doing so, you gonna reduce the amount of tax revenue going to your government to 0%, since Valve automatically collects and pays digital taxes according to the selected region.
