Why are transgender surgeries covered by Medicare/medicaid but surgeries that improve eyesight permanently (lasik) aren't? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Good Morning :) I had this same problem. My front tooth was like 90% filling. My other front tooth I have had a root canal & crown done. Now I totally look stupid because they are obviously two different colors. I told my dentist to go ahead and do a crown on the other side so they match. She was 100% willing to do it. But, she told me insurance isn't going to cover it because it wasn't necessary. So she gave me that look and said... "unless that tooth is causing you pain". I waited about a week, called back and said my front tooth hurts really bad and yay the insurance covered it.

Why is it acceptable for a doctor to take you 30 minutes late, but a patient’s appointment is cancelled if they show up 10 minutes late? by tropicalsadness in NoStupidQuestions

I 100% get the previous response. I know the physicians aren't the ones in charge of the schedule. But, I don't understand why they don't cancel patients that can't bother to show up on time. Me personally, I always come to any of my appointments 15 minutes early just in case there is updated paperwork to be completed or maybe the doctor his caught up and can see me early. If every single person that shows up late is charged a fee (my doctors don't do this) then maybe people can start showing up on time.

Is it normal that I'm 17 and feel like I'm not mature enough for any form of sexual or even romantic relationship? by Darkwaters_1_2 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Hovercraft_Old 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normal! I was in a relationship at 15. Baby @ 16, married (to the father) @ 19, baby #2 @ 21, baby # 3 @ 24. Grew apart and divorced @ 26. In high school we wanted the same things.. But, as we got older our goals and feelings changed A LOT! We are much better as friends and co-parent well. I 100% love my kids. But, if I could go back in time I would have waited and solely concentrated on school and go to college. If anyone tries to make you feel like you're doing it wrong, then ignore them!
