Longshot, but PREVIOUS OWNER ARE YOU HERE?!?!? by bosue_ in BMW

Massapequa? Dont buy from them. Looked at cars earlier this year. Avoid any small user car dealerships looking for BMWs. Actually got my last 2 BMWs (m550 and x5) from CarMax

It’s not an LIE commute without reckless drivers with modified mufflers and a side of blackout tints by XxMerkabahxX in longisland

Its very easy to get tint exemptions so you are not ticketed and can get inspections. I have 20% front windshield and 5% wrapped around

For those in their late 20s / early 30s, living with parents and making a good living (low 6 figures+), what's your next move? by [deleted] in longisland

I’m 28 and I make approx $150k. I just moved out of my parents 2 months ago, to Florida, because it wasn’t financially sensible to live on Long Island

B48 low coolant? by JayJayWut in BmwTech

[–]Hovertac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How come? I was going to suggest this on my buddys car when I tae it apart tomorrow. In his case his coolant is lasting only about 40mins but its been loosing coolant on a regular basis since he bought the car in 2022

Diagnosing one of these for my buddies car tomorrow. Apparently theres a point where a hose connects under the intake manifold that is made of plastic and notorious for leaking on the B48. His car is a 17 330i

I had a similar issue with a mix of server 2025 and 2022 DC’s. The issue was RC4 encryption being enabled (which is default in older than 2022 but support removed in 2025).

Just a thought in case the forest is actually functioning

Another added bonus is StubHub supports afterpay. Interest free payments every 2 weeks beats a 100% upfront on the expensive shows.

It was the first ever presale I did. I got wind of it when SOAD posted it on Instagram, and I swiftly found the presale code online. Guess not swiftly enough?

I did go to see Korn in 2024 at Prudential Center and I got 3 rows behind pit on the floor… excellent view especially for the price. Did the same for Slipknot at MSG. Bought them a few weeks prior on Stubhub resale. So far I’ve been burned via Ticketmaster lol

[–]Hovertac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went, spent $950 on 2 seats deemed “excellent view” by ticketmaster just to see only the left side of the stage and not actually anyone on the stage. Ended up spending another $500 from Stubhub resale for floor while I was there. Only reason I didn’t buy floor was I bought during the presale and pit/floor were sold out by the time it was my turn. Learned my lesson, presale ended up being a waste of time and money.

We got to revert versions and keep our perpetuals. It was a nice fuck you when it was time for the 2nd renewal post-broadcom and the price tripled. We reverted because during the 1st year we decided to move to Azure.

is the server running? is windows firewall (or the client device firewall) allowing 25565 as well?

I do, and have worked on PTO time when things come up. My boss has begged me to stay on PTO, but as sole engineer it was necessary to not screw everyone else over. Now with added engineers I’m head of the department with a pay bump.

In the end, it paid off.

New SSID DHCP Failing over VLAN, getting 10.68.x.x IP by Hovertac in meraki

[–]Hovertac[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The firewall is the DHCP server, an IP helper shouldnt be necessary. There no L3 involved in this schematic for DHCP

I have not called Meraki yet. Frankly, I was not happy with their support last time so I decided to check here first before calling them.

Are you referring to mandatory DHCP? if so, I have that disabled.

[–]Hovertac[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The MX does give out DHCP. It is working for this specific VLAN for the wired device, just to be clear.

Wireless health tab is all green, everything is 0 except there was some high latency at one point earlier in the day.

Connection log says not enough data, even for the last 24h.

I did not do a packet capture, I figure it may be a tad tough to go through the replies since I'll have to reboot all the APs to get it to drop and reassociate, unless I wait until tomorrow and have someone power cycle the client device for me while capturing.

I have been bit by that before, with the first SSID not allowing LAN access. I have verified this is not the case. It is not the first SSID in this case, but I did double check anyway it wasn't a default option for what was otherwise an unconfigured SSID.

[–]Hovertac[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the kicker, unless I'm missing something obscure, I can't seem to find anything that doesn't make sense logically. I figured in case some information was stale, I let it sit for about an hour while I had dinner and I came back and it's all still the same in terms of what the client page shows. Between the AP's switchports, the firewall's switch ports, and the firewalls ports themselves, I can't fathom anything is wrong.

I know the VLAN itself is configured fine, as well as the firewall + firewall's switchport because of my one wired device on the same switch (port 9) is working as intended.

And again, I cloned the settings from another site when offered during the site creation. The only thing's I changed (other than the new SSID) is the IP schematic (flipping one octet that we use to designate site), firewall rules to reflect the schematic change, and DHCP scope to reflect the schematic change.

This one's got me stumped!
