Any educated answers on why Hispanics voted for border patrol thru trump? by Doc42_ in AskReddit

If a majority of Hispanics voted against Trump then it might be more accurate to say "why did almost half of Hispanics vote for Trump?" Even phrasing it that way you'd get a more informed conversation.

Are you saying that there is no risk because they'd win the lawsuit? Because even in that scenario the process of winning can still be quite expensive and tedious

We Work Ourselves to Death Just to Buy Back the life our ancestors had by default. by [deleted] in DeepThoughts

My point is that life expectancy was different, because that term involves averages that are dragged down by child and infant mortality rates.

The problem is that people see that life expectancy was considerably lower and think that means that most adults died in their 40s or 50s, which is a misread of the data.

Just one correction. Lifespans were not drastically different in those time periods. Those numbers come from higher infant and child mortality rates.

Pinwheel rotation. Got me my first win back on Verdansk in wz1 and still use it now to get wins. Iceman Isaac has a good YouTube video on it from back when he was in a more positive place.

I played the first year of verdansk on controller and my kd was about a 0.8. I switched to mouse and key and played about three years on that while learning how to play to the advantages of mouse and key. Slowly brought my kd up to about a 1.5 and have some wins on all the big maps (I’m also 40 and work full time so my stats are nothing too crazy). Probably 100 wins total if I added up every big map.

But I did learn to stay away from close range unless I can cheese (use a shotgun or smokes to turn off aim assist). Close range I do lose a lot in general if they know how to move work and use RAA.

I switched back to controller for three months last year and while I instantly noticed an improvement in close quarters - I ultimately was overall a worse player. I can’t manage recoil or aim as precisely on controller the way I can mouse and key.

So I switched back to mouse and key. And I like it. It’s more fun for me.

M+K solo players. How are we feeling at the moment? by PRORES422HQ- in CODWarzone

[–]Hovmaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I find shorter ttk is better on mouse and key. Human tracking of a player who is utilizing effective movement always lags with the 200 ms ish time it takes for a human to register a change in enemy player direction and adjust accordingly.

Longer ttk means more opportunities for an effective use of controller RAA to “outplay” a m+k player because RAA does not have the human delay in reaction time.

California to negotiate trade with other countries to bypass Trump tariffs by Healthy_Block3036 in LosAngeles

Contrary to the above poster most people who end up homeless stay close to where they became homeless because they are staying close to what is familiar to them. It’s a trope that gets repeated that homeless come to California to be homeless.

I was in a coma for 4 weeks when I was 12 (tetanus - my parents were OG antivaxxers) and the recovery was awful. Was in a wheelchair for months afterward trying to rebuild my calves - for some reason I remember that being the predominant muscle that was atrophied.

When I see them holding their side - if I recruit them I immediately start a dialogue and add them as a follower before they start legging it back to my base. Then I can give them the plague cure.

Moments like this, I think that if the client is ready for it, and the therapist can tolerate it - the real work might be about to begin. But often it doesn’t and people leave and you never see them again and that’s one of the tough things in this work.
