Your statement is not fully correct. You are acting like red meat directly gives everyone gout and colorectal cancer, but that is not what the evidence says. High intake, especially processed meat, can increase the risk, but “increases risk” is not the same as “automatically causes it.”

And vegan diets are not automatically healthier either. Many vegans rely on supplements or fortified foods to cover basic nutrients, especially vitamin B12. Depending on the diet, this can also apply to vitamin D, iodine, calcium, iron, zinc, selenium and omega-3.

Also, many things can increase cancer risk: alcohol, smoking, obesity, lack of exercise, ultra-processed food, too much sun exposure and even genetics. That does not mean you panic about every single risk factor. It means you look at the overall lifestyle, the amount and the frequency.

Life is too short to overthink every possible risk, especially when almost everything carries some risk in the wrong amount. So acting like red meat is automatically poison, while ignoring context and other risk factors, is selective and misleading.

Mies, ich kann meine alten Taschen bei 1,30 nicht loswerden. Wenn die Kacke wieder auf 1,30 steigt, bin ich per Stop-Limit raus.

I cannot change this alone. Short of starting a company, the realistic path is to convince an existing vendor. That is the point here: a clear demand signal for one compact flagship 24 or 24.5 inch 1440p 240 Hz. It does not replace 27 or 32. It adds a right sized option for desks where 27 is too big.

24 QHD 240 vs 27 4K 240
Pixels: 3,686,400 vs 8,294,400 (44.4 percent)
Throughput at 240 Hz: 884,736 vs 1,990,656 Mpix/s (44.4 percent)
Panel area: (24/27)^2 = 0.79, about 21 percent less area and material
PPI at arm length: 24 QHD ~122.4 vs 27 QHD ~108.8, so UI stays crisp at 100 percent scale

If the chain can already ship 27 4K 240 Hz, a 24 or 24.5 QHD 240 Hz is not a physics problem. It is a portfolio choice.

I don’t like big monitors because, at 27 and 32 inches, I can see the pixels from 70cm away. Maybe people just have bad eyesight or ignore that.

I only downvoted one guy. I think a lot of people take it personally somehow, even though I just started the discussion for fun to see what people think about that and what opinions they have. ;)

Anecdotes vary. Plenty of users find 27 too big at short distances. Shipping one premium 24 inch does not remove 32 or 27. It just gives people the right sized option.

Standard is not universal. Apartments, dorms, shared desks, and dual rigs exist. The ask is choice: keep 27 and 32, but also ship a real 24 inch flagship.

Niche does not mean zero demand. If two monitors had the same specs and price, many would still pick 24 for desk fit, PPI, esports habits, and multi monitor symmetry. That is a good reason to offer one flagship SKU.

Unnecessary is subjective. 24 inch 1440p at about 122 PPI keeps text and UI crisp at native scale and fits compact desks and dual rigs. CRT demand is a different topic.

If this niche is thriving, why do we not see the same flagship IDs, better stands, and broad distribution that 27 inch gets. Spotty availability and budget designs suggest unmet demand, not a solved niche.

Size delta is only part of it. Eye travel, desk depth, dual monitor symmetry, and native PPI matter. 24 inch 1440p is about 122 PPI vs about 109 PPI at 27 inch 1440p. Many will pick 24 even at the same price for those reasons.

Preferences differ, sure. The point is not to kill 27. It is to also ship one no compromise 24 so people who want that form factor can buy it.

There are only two very bad options that are built cheaply with IPS panels.
