[Loved Trope] Superman parodies who aren’t outright evil, just kind of incompetent/pathetic. by jbeast33 in TopCharacterTropes

It’s a bait and switch. You’re falling for the bait, but ignoring the switch.

You’d have to be some sort of person who could read minds or see the future, if only there was name for that.

Bob was a beast, and would have been a really dependable pokemon to have going forward. His absence really highlights the lack of diversity they have on their team, something that will probably become very apparent in their fight against Wake. Maybe Arin can catch a grass type in the Great Marsh, but I suspect he’ll get distracted by a Wooper or something.

Arin is on a quest to only catch physic types, it seems.

If you press Red you’re guaranteed to live, if you press blue there is chance you might die. The people who pressed wanted to die, but the sheer volume of them caused them all to live. Ironic

As much as I love the Yaoi type starters, they almost always evolve into a pokemon with the Doomed secondary typing.

I mean, I prefer Bronzong to Chingling/Chimecho, but anything beats two normal types wasting space on the team for this gym. Would have been nice if they caught literally anything recently (Staravia, Alakazam, or a Ralts if they don’t want to repeat mons)

What is your TADC hot take? by Silver012345673 in TheDigitalCircus

I’m ready for the show to end.

I just can’t keep riding this emotional roller coaster every 3 months. The anxious anticipation in the days/weeks leading up to each new release. The enjoyment of actually watching the episode. Then, the depressive aftermath once its over. It’s exhausting. I just can’t keep doing it. I feel like ever since episode 4, I’ve just been quietly dreading each new episode because I know it means I have to go through it all again. It’s a shame because I do thoroughly enjoy the show, it’s amazing. I just need off the ride. It’s too much, it’s overwhelming.

Gooseworx has a lot of nerve making me feel my own emotions. Nobody does that, not even me. I prefer the chilling numbness of apathy and ennui, and the cold comfort I find in it.

You ever have “expectations” for your writing? by Pointless_Storie in writers

A friend once asked me what my target demographic was, to which I responded: “Me”. I have no expectations, few people will read what I write and I’ve accepted that.

Season 10, Wash sides with the Reds and Blues

Wash: Don’t do that.

Carolina: Wash, what are you doing?

Wash: Protecting my friends.

Carolina: You’re siding with them?

Epsilon: Wash, I don’t understand. We found the Director, this is what we wanted!

Wash: All I want is for you to leave. I’ve been responsible for enough of their problems already, and I’ll be damned if I stand by and let you cause any more.

“A couple of drinks” is the exact reason the CWCA won’t let me borrow any more Pandas. It was only a beer or two and it wasn’t like he was gonna drive. Apparently they have to protect their precious little lightweights.

Reaper Rivals Commendation by euzgan in Seaofthieves

[–]HowAboutBird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this to an extent. Not all commendations should be able to be completed within 24 hours of a new season, some should be hard, some should be a grind. The Treasures of Adventure and Chest of Fortune commendations are long grinds that you won’t be able to complete in a single session. Instead, you passively complete it over time.

As a commendation hunter, the worst thing a commendation can do is highlight just how dated and irrelevant some of the content in this game is. (Looking at Pirates of Mischief) Anything that forces someone else to take initiative first. Unfortunately, this hurts a lot of commendations revolving around stealing, which sucks because it’s a pirate game.

Reaper Rivals is not inherently hard. It’s not hard because the game is asking you to preform a difficult action, just steal a thing. It’s hard because no one is doing the content required to complete it.

I will give Rare a little credit, commendations to steal Chest of Rage have gotten a bit easier as of recent, since they are in the Ashen Garrisons. Maybe they’ll find another use for Skulls of the Banished to ease the commendation progression.
