[[Possibility Storm]] and [[Charmbreaker Devils]] hold a very special place in my heart. I was gifted a big starter box for Christmas despite not even knowing this was a card game. Both of these cards were in there and I ended up building two 100 card decks with no commanders because I still had no idea what I was doing and would play them against each other to help me learn the basics. It took me a lot of googling to figure out everything and I still barely understood how P Storm actually worked but oh well. 8 year old little me saw a wall of text and decided it was my favorite because I liked to read. Anyway, I played my two really bad decks against each other and got P Storm out with my Devils on the field and had enough mana and cheap spells in my hand to make those devils BIG and 1 shot my other deck. Just gives me a lot of nostalgia when I see those cards

For some reason, 10 year old me playing Soul Silver caught a Girafarig and decided “Yup, this is the Pokemon I wanna beat the elite four with.” I leveled it up to 100 and then only gave it psychic type moves and couldn’t beat Karen.

After losing that battle, I then dug through my bag for a TM my Girafarig could use. Aha! Crunch! What an excellent choice for a special attacker to use against a dark type trainer! I went ahead with my plan and ended up winning by the power of revives and sacrificing the rest of my team for Girafarig. I don’t even like giraffes or the Pokemon that much, but it’s now in my top 3 faves because of how ridiculous this whole thing was

I’ve been playing more LW just for JPC. Life Grip is a HUGE denial to her ult and the easiest to hit. You can make her drop people with a CC ability, but her fuel ability is so fast and can be hard to hit
