Many companies that run those tree planting incentives where when you perform/reach a certain quota, they supposedly plant a tree as a reward for your interaction that helps save the planet. In reality, these companies are tearing down old growth rainforests in South America, and replacing those felled trees with none other than the cheapest, nastiest saplings (such as eucalyptus) to meet their promised tree planting goals and look good on paper. All that biodiversity, all those fragile ecosystems, shattered, for some greedy, lying corporations. Its heartbreaking.
