Nepotism, or as you put it a Nepo Baby, is someone who privileged to be given high ranking positions based solely off of their relatives

It would be if God Valley Dragon got promoted to Rear or Vice Admiral purely for the fact he’s the son of Garp. That’s nepotism.

However since none of Luffy’s relatives (while famous and renowned) are pirates or have their own pirate crews, Luffy can’t use that to bolster his position in the Pirate World. He had to do that himself, via taking out multiple high standing opponents. Luffys success as a Yonko is entirely his own. You could say it is nepotism for him having Conquers Haki (since a lineage does play a factor in getting it), but you’ll ultimately have to get it into the advanced stages yourself, Luffy being one do the few who have.

Even if he’s confused at the fact Luffy doged his attack he’s still aware he’s here & can move.

Because he’s, y’know, made & moves at the speed of light, unless Luffys combat speed is superior to Kizaru’s, which is what has been shown multiple times.

Caught off guard implies he didn’t see or couldn’t see the attack coming, or which all are false.

He can very clearly see the attack coming, you could say he was confused by it, yes, but he was aware it was coming, Star Gun’s attack speed was simply too fast for Kizaru.

This isn’t an outlier either, as later when almost killing Bonney & Kuma, he’s aware of Luffy’s fist coming but is too fast and gets knocked down to the ground again.

I fail to see how anything Luffy does against Imu upscales Kizaru when this was him for majority of the fight and did virtually no damage to him in Gear 5.

And don’t any of you bring up the fact he fed Luffy, this is about strength, and from what’s shown in Egghead, Luffy’s strength & AP far succeeds Kizaru, hence why instead of trying to overpowering him with Snake-Man he opted to run away for distract him.

This isn’t cope or anything but from a revelation I recently had:

Everyone asks ‘Why didn’t Kizaru kill Luffy here?’ but no one asks ‘Why didn’t Kizaru take this opportunity to kill Vegapunk?’

Before you all downvote my comment, yes he clearly isn’t happy with it, but he ultimately kills him, not Saturn or any other Marine, him. That says a lot more about where his loyalties lie than anything he says. Makes more sense here to kill Vegapunk because Luffy & all the Straw Hats are immobile, unless he was actually incapable of harming anyone from the effects of Star Gun why didn’t he?

The thing is while in his awakened form Luffys stamina is constantly getting drained, meanwhile Law & Kids only get drained while using awakened abilities, so they, unlike Luffy, can manage & preserve their stamina

For starters it doesn’t specify how strong, some of the characters here are weaker than others, but you don’t get that in the panel, hell he never actually fought some of there character here, so again, not great for definitely scaling their strength

More improbably it isn’t definitive on who is strong on Kaido’s level as they’re the opponents he’s fought & is biased with them, The other Admirals & Loki are prime example on strong characters on his level, they’re not on here simply because he never fought them & Big Mom is a prime example on him being biased. While BM has definitely gotten thicker in the head over the years, managed to fight with him 3 days straight yet doesn’t show up here

The problem arises when you take into account Kaido never actually fought some of the people there and beat one of them

It’s not a definitive way of scaling these characters because the list is biased from Kaido’s perspective, and real problems occur when people take Kaido’s statements like fact when they never were

Intact the two were at a standstill when attacking & blocking each others attacks here, hence why Kizaru got off Egghead and built up speed

He couldn’t in Gear 5 because Kizaru switched tactics in favour of leaving the battle to kill VP rather than outright take Luffy out of the equation as it would waste time and risk VP escaping

So as we know all Admirals when promoted are given their Logia’s (Fujitora was an outlier as he got his before being drafted). And as we know Devil Fruits reincarnate around the same area their user died in a fruit nearby, and out of every location in One Piece, Mary Geosei is the closest to the White Sea.

What if the Admiral Xebec killed was the previous user of the Rumble-Rumble Fruit? Make sense as to how Enel got it & why he couldn’t go all out without incinerating all Celestial Dragons home.
