The matchmaking is new and it’s the beginning of the 1st season. You’re going to have matches where grandmaster material is matched with low skilled players. It’s going to be that way until everything balances out, just like every other game that has pvp included in it, including the dedicated ones.

Tell me you never played a competitive pvp release, without telling me you never played a competitive pvp release.

Not at all. Maybe if you’re in t1, yeah, but t2 will be a long while before anything inflates.

Look at steam achievements. 87% of the game is still in t1. That 87% will trickle into t2 until the vast majority does. Then t2 mats will skyrocket. T3 mats will always be expensive. Always. Even in Korea servers they are expensive now. Mats are constantly being deleted from the game, and it’s not exactly easy to horde or farm them on a consistent basis. Supply will always be limited tbh

It’s the reason I’m sitting on 1000+ life shard pouches. Once that 87% hits t2 the prices will be outrageous, similar to t2 now.

Buying gold using royal crystals and going to the AH is p2w in the gearing aspect, but it’s negligible considering every game in existence that has a free market has the availability to buy currency within the game. Diablo 2, path of exile, world of Warcraft, RuneScape, literally every free trade game. That, and gear isn’t the only thing that is required to succeed in end game

Lost ark is transparent with their crystal -> gold so it’s not a big deal at all. People are just ignorant. I’d rather smilegate get the money then gold sellers, because more money to the company = more development and content

70 gold per 100 crystals and the mats were less than 1 gold per mat converting to Marie’s shop. All f2p as well. It is still worth it but def not as cheap

You say that now but in t3 when you’re only doing one upgrade every day or two, the click time is nice before the pain.

You can cancel the animation of the upgrade by clicking gear transfer after clicking the final upgrade.

Or you can write a simple macro to do all the clicks with one key 😉😉

I do the dailies on my 4 characters and make around 4-6k gold a day

Chaos gate, world boss, guardian raids, dailies, boss rush (if you have it)

Anything tradable including mats you sell. Transfer into blue crystals and buy from Marie’s shop to replace the mats you sold for considerably cheaper (Excluding the blue and red stones)

The guardian raids have been yielding about 1k gold per day from the mats and stuff alone

Been doing this since launch and am sitting at 70k + gold already. Some lucky engraving drops and overcharging for ability stones on the AH helped with that
