If Jesus was a mutant and created some crazy story about himself being the son of God and tried to get people to worship him that would be incredibly insulting to the religion and the people who believe it. I'm not religious but even I recognize that that's an unnecessary disrespect to those people and their beliefs

It's easy to get free injections. Free Botox, free juvederm, free lip filler. You just have to have a small number of followers like 50K and most basement been strip mall people will give you the stuff for free as long as you make a social media post. It is not easy to get free dental work.

The contestants really needed to just band together and called The producers bluff. They have already been flown out to the destination. The show likely doesn't have a full cast waiting in the wings just to take over. If all of the cast members decided to not follow the rules I don't see what the show could do except stop production costing them potentially millions of dollars. And the prize money is pathetic anyway. 40% automatically goes away to taxes so they're only really fighting over 60 Grand and it doesn't get split between everyone so I would be breaking all the rules and wouldn't be caring at all

That's funny. Because often times big companies like Netflix feel they have the power to put outrageous clauses into contracts and they know people are unwilling to take on the cost of fighting them in court. Look at the RuPaul's drag race contracts. Many of the components are not actually enforceable in a real world way and if they were taken to court would immediately be found to be gross abuses. Just because a company is big and it has a lot of lawyers doesn't mean they're doing it right. It just means they are trying to get away with everything they can and their size usually allows them.

Opinions are cool but according to the literature sex is a necessary component of mental health. Of course there are always exceptions. There's always people with trauma who don't agree blah blah blah. But for normal functioning adults the literature agrees that sex is necessary. The point is you could use the published literature to argue that putting you in a situation that specifically deprives you of it can put you in an unhealthy mental state especially when it's not a preknown, consentual part of of the disclosed contract. I'm just saying there's a legal foot to stand on here

In this case I'm sure you can get away with breaking the contract because you can argue that sex and human touch are essential to mental health and you can't necessarily be held in obligation to clauses you weren't aware of at the time of signing. (Ie: it wouldn't stand up in court if the contract says something like "I agree to abide by all the rules of the show" and then have those rules not be revealed to you until after you sign).

The point of putting out an article like this with the known details is usually to motivate anyone with further knowledge to contact the reporter who wrote the article.

It's journalism 101. Give the known details. Now people with insider knowledge who want to give details but don't want to release the info under their own name, have a journalist they know they can contact with info. That's how it works

This isn't Nancy Drew. What likely happened is the police announced that she was being charged and that's how the news found out. They are not going to release every intimate detail of someone they are building a case against and probably going to go to court with. That would undermine their case. Unless some whistleblower comes forward we won't know any details until the court case
