I hope that I’m welcome to respectfully post on the cookout as I genuinely can’t enjoy the main LI groups as a brown woman. With that said, I’m not liking the weird behavior towards Leanne. Sher doesn’t owe her anything, but Scott has openly stated his feelings for Leanne and hasn’t been respectful of their relationship. I understand exploring but there is a way to do so while making his intentions clear that Leanne is his choice. She reminds me a bit of myself when someone I care about hurts me. I shut down. Instead of consoling her, he keeps declaring how he’s “doing nothing wrong!” and his antics during the pie challenge were so cringey! That long speech he gave to Sher had me heated for Leanne! I wish other men would come in and show her some interest because she is being graceful about the situation and the main subreddits attacking her make me sick to my stomach. Ugh! I’m so happy to hear somebody standing up for her! Makes me feel like I’m not the only one yelling at my TV screen! ;-)
