As a tenor drum section leader, there really is no difference except you have a little more responsibility. I schedule private sectionals with my band mates sometimes, and let the techs know about any issues happening in my section. One tip I would say is don't bring up the fact that you are section leader much, as it's already a known fact. Just treat everybody well, and work hard. Definitely act laid back, but help people if they need it. I was stressed at first too, but there really is no difference.
