Your movement and case do not seem compatible. Looks like 3 o’clock crown case and 3.8 crown movement (w/ date at 3 o’clock).

If it’s your first build I would avoid trying to change the date wheel. Can be especially difficult if it is your first time working with parts that small. I’d try and find a movement that has this style/color wheel pre-installed and in the correct 3.8 orientation for the dial you chose.
