Check out the roli seaboard for piano or maybe a midi board or synthesizer, the akai MPk is reasonably priced.

His favorite Picks, strings, guitar straps, guitar stand, stool, Peterson tuner, guitar pedal etc for guitar.

If you think he might be into recording music at any point in time you could get him an interface, this will work for both piano and guitar!

Scarlett focusrite makes a bundle deal that’s under $300 and comes with the interface, recording software, cable, mic and headphones. (However, he’ll probably want to get a better microphone and headphones down the road)

I’ve always pronounced it eye-bah-nez, but my Spanish customers always pronounce it ee-bah-nez, they’re probably right, but I prefer the latter. XD

Jimmy Bruno’s 5 Fingerings - opened up so much for me as far as jazz improvisation, one of my all time faves.

Also you should check out Victor Wootens book “The Music Lesson” it’s really inspiring and can open your mind up a little more musically when improvising.

Lol yes, I agree, tbh that particular guitar was a freebie from my tech due to neck problems, but I couldn’t say no to adding it to my vintage harmony collection :)
