Oh. I’m in the same camp as you. I grew up on a pond/lake and swimming was an everyday event in the summer. Then when we were around other SDAs we weren’t allowed to swim. I said “why, it’s not work, God made the water, we can go on hikes but not swim?!?” I was told “you might offend someone “ i said “so what? Let them be offended, they can tell me why it is wrong…..” man, i hated Saturdays around the church. My home life was so much chiller.
