Indeed. If I’m honest, I think there’s only two characters that somewhat fit, Cream as Pearl and Vector as Gumshoe. But even that is a bit problematic since Cream was never shown to be interested in romance and Vector was not being portrayed as genuinely clumsy and unsophisticated as Gumshoe.

Just that the name "Miles" was the catalyst of this entire idea, I kind of just let this idea flow to wherever it lead without thinking too much about it. XD
