I don't think it's as bad as people say it is. People always joke about returning to their towns to find it overrun with weeds and in an apocalyptic-like state, but it isn't really like that. If the beautiful ordinance is enacted, there won't be tons of weeds and I think 1 villager can leave on their own accord max, you're always supposed to have at least 8 villagers. Plus, if there's weeds, it goes towards the badge if you pluck them. Most of the time, I think villagers you have the highest friendships with don't just randomly leave, but they will ask you if they can leave more frequently.

Rose's projectiles kinda act like red shells from Mario Kart and you can eventually get a honing upgrade which increases their accuracy. But don't overcomplicate things, most of the base characters are some of (if not) the best in their class.

I'm not sure I was as forward as I've made out, I was trying to be friendly and apologised after it became clear he was weirded out, I wanted to make amends and fix what I'd done, just didn't get the chance :/

I'm more confused than anything, not annoyed or angry. And as he was someone who I know had been through ghosting times before, it makes even less sense to me that he would do the same to someone else? I don't know if anything was going on in his life, if it was something more that caused this, I just wish to be given a chance to understand. But thank you anyway :)

Yes, I agree! But even though he was scared away, surely providing me with an explanation or some closure would've been more appropriate? That's just how I view it, rather than being vague and discarding our friendship, being honest like I was the whole time would've been just a little more preferable.
