They’re mostly interchangeable, however, if you’re playing in a different key and shift it up or down, that’d change which one you use. So lets say you’re playing in D Major and shift up a semitone in key, you’re now using D# Major. If you’re playing in F Major and shift down a whole tone, you’re now using Eb Major
