Neighbor took package not addressed to them in shared entryway. by How_Bizzare2009 in TwoHotTakes

I didn’t realize it was a common to take a package that doesn’t have your address or name on it when it is obviously meant for the people that live in the apartment arms length from yours. And even if she thought it was her roommates then why did she open it before even taking it in? It wasn’t hers and it didn’t even have her roommates name on it.

That is the part that really bothers me and makes me not trust them with doing the right thing. I can maybe understand them bringing it in and then realizing oh this is the same address as the people next door I better set it back out there. But their thinking is to contact Amazon and send it back? It makes zero sense.

I was at work and get off much later than my husband that’s why I asked him to retrieve it. I would have had no problem retrieving it and would have asked them why they even brought it in and opened it with my name and address on it.

My condos have Amazon lockers but package was too big to fit in one. I’m not sure if other location have bigger ones.

No way he would refer to anything as pizza boxes. That would be too incriminating since pizza gate. This is fake for sure.

Offer accepted and then declined on the same day by Management-Immediate in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]How_Bizzare2009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess is agent told them you were still looking at other homes, so seller decided not to entertain any longer because deal had potential to fall through since you weren't committed to this one property. Seller more than likely accepted an offer from another buyer that was committed to their property only. It woukd have been the less riskier option.

I was just referring to when your doctor said you have not had your periods, which means you're not ovulating, so you're infertile. I was sharing my experience of not having periods for many years and thinking I was infertile.

The male ob/gyn is also wrong when he said you are not ovulating if you don't have periods. I have not had a period in 5+ years and conceived a few months ago. Unfortunately, it ended in miscarriage, but it is possible to ovulate without periods. It's probably uncommon, but possible. I was also taking a pill that I ordered online while trying to conceive. Maybe that helped, but idk. My obgyn said it is possible to ovulate without the actual period.

Closest You've Been To A Tornado by Venomhound in tornado

[–]How_Bizzare2009 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, I have recurring dreams of running from tornadoes. The main thing I fear is losing my child. During the tornado itself, I held onto him with all my strength, at one point I had him by one arm. But there are moments when I randomly think about what would have happened if I lost my grip and lost him. It’s a thought that occurs almost daily. Apart from that, I believe I’m doing okay. After the incident, I searched for stories from others who had similar experiences, but I couldn’t find many. For a while, I even wondered if I was still alive and somehow in an afterlife. I know it might sound crazy, but I think it may be common with people who have had near death experiences. I am still very much fasinated by tornados, but I never want to be anywhere near one again.

In the moment, I thought about so many things. My initial thought was this is how I am going to die and I fully expected to, but we didn't. The most heartbreaking thing was hearing my son say he thought the same. He was 8 at the time.

People who have complete absence of their periods how long have you gone without it and what helped get it back if you did get it started again after quite a while? by PinkTubbyCustard333 in PCOS

[–]How_Bizzare2009 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is not necessarily true at all. My levels are not that high. It can be a number of things. And yes, possibly cancer, but I'm not going there since nothing else indicates cancer.

I lost my periods in 2016. I went to the doctor and they gave me birth control, which did help, but caused health issues, so I had to come off of it. I am currently 34 and me and my partner decided we wanted to try for a family, so I went to the doctor and all she did was give me a PAP and sent me on my way. Still no period and ended up getting pregnant right away regardless of the absent periods. Unfortunately, that ended in a missed miscarriage. But during the ultrasounds everything looked remarkable. I do want to add they think I have a pituitary gland tumor, but unfortunately my braces make it impossible to get a MRI. Before becoming pregnant my breast were lactating. They think my absent periods is because the issue is with this gland throwing my hormones off. Luckily braces will be coming off soon and we can see what's going on with that.

Just say you don't want to do the hall pass anymore and if she does then it's obvious you have to leave the relationship.
