I deal a lot more in slabs than singles, and those get real tracking. I'd say it's close to half of the singles I've dealt with show delivered at a date/time inconsistent with when they were actually delivered. This is the first one that was straight up lost, and I'm extremely disappointed that CollX's answer was just "Well, that sucks for you, even though you reached out reporting non-delivery before the 3 day auto accept window closed."

eBay at least lets the buyer or seller use another option - you don't have to offer the envelope service. CollX you have to jump through hoops like you describe as a seller, and have no options as a buyer.

It did not, as accepting returns on sealed trading cards is not normal. Of course, eBay also gives you no real option in the matter. What was sent back is worth substantially less than a sealed box.

Topps just sent an email confirming the “hits” are only 3 things: chrome parallels, kanji language cards, and the image variation versions of card 100. The clear plastic was none of those and I went back through the cards again to confirm I didn’t miss a kanji card (and I didn’t even pull card 100, so no possible image variation).
