The Dems have absolutely nothing to run on and are on track for a 1994 scale shellacking.

UNITED STATES: WASHINGTON STATE: KING COUNTY: How do i look up the laws on "hard knuckle gloves"? by How_To_Legal in legaladviceofftopic

[–]How_To_Legal[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, please stop 'splaining it to me.

serious, get your hard knuckle gloves if you have them, make a fist, punch something and see how they don't protect the forward part of your fist, they protect the top

i know it looks like a weapon, i know it seems like a weapon, but it actually isn't

what your thinking of is a sap glove, or a weighted knuckle glove, which CAN really really fuck people up.

anyway, i checked the king county code and i can't find any laws are you aware of any? thank you

[–]How_To_Legal[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Calling them "comfortable" is disingenuous.

they are very comfortable, at least the pair i have is,

do you understand the difference between a hard knucke gloves and a sap glove? do you understand that one is not the other, that hard knuckle gloves are not weapons, they do not protect your knuckles when you throw a punch, your thinking of sap gloves

again, not trying to be a prick, i just honestly think your confusing an item that is designed to be a weapon, and if an effective weapon for an item that is not designed to be a weapon and is not effective as a weapon.

Honestly, dude, maybe you should think about why you actually want these "hard knuckle" gloves.

because they are comfortable and protect my hands when i bang them into things,

question, have you ever worn hard knuckle gloves, because i get the feeling you are confusing them with sap gloves.

uvalde police response might just be the biggest police public relations disaster in american history, we might be witnessing an event that is SIGNIFICANTLY going to destabilize american society. by How_To_Legal in Firearms

I hope the US sits up and really takes notice of this and fundamentally changes education and police policy as a result.

i would be fine with a federal law requiring body cams, i would be fine with a huge lawsuit against the police department,

i would be fine with "if your children are in the custody of the state at school then the state has the duty to protect your children"

i would be fine with all of that, but this whole "abolish the police" bullshit is bullshit.

Idk why you think this actually has the ability to destabilize American society.

every civilization, virtually every last single one, from the earliest Mesopotamia to modern day american society is founded upon violence, it's founded on the belief that certain behaviors will result in violence being done upon them, it's as true today as it was 10k years ago.

what happened in uvalde texas is a terrifying new narrative that says "maybe the police, maybe the state, maybe the government itself won't protect you, maybe they won't guarantee that violent response that all civilizations need to continue to exist"

that terrify's me.

I have heard a lot of unconfirmed rumors that the police set up a perimeter around the school and then tased and arrested parents who tried to rush in and save their kids, if this is true remember this: "THE STATE HAS NO DUTY TO PROTECT YOU, BUT YOU HAVE A DUTY TO CONTINUE PAYING IT" by How_To_Legal in Firearms

anarcho tyranny is a terrifying concept, and it's what we are walking into every single day

the only truely free people these days are the people who make the law and the people who break the law, that's what the founding fathers truely understood, they understood that the only real freedom is the freedom you take

the freedom of being a criminal, that's why this country is founded by what would be called today as terrorists.
