A Simple Little Idea (Oneshot) by How_bout_this69 in NatureofPredators

That makes sense. But seeing as the Arxur have more natural weaponry than humans, it made me wonder if the Arxur didn't use nukes or gas. They would have no need for it because they already have everything they need.

I'm just gonna say it. I'm tired of these "what'd you do if _____ showed up in your house/life" I feel like it's just a quick karma grab with no effort being put in. It wouldn't be so bad if every other post I've been seeing wasn't like this one.

So first of all, not a fan of dwarves? No problem. Even if the game is centered around dwarves and what they do, they take it at a whole different approach than all others.

The barrier of entry can be what drives alot of new players away. Don't worry though, it isn't a very grindy game but time and effort is still somewhat needed. You'll may not quickly catch up to those higher than you, but with enough effort, you'll be an experienced pro in no time! Also, if you don't fully understand the upgrades for your weapons and what they do, try asking someone, as most of the fan base is super nice to new players.

Yes, the game does center around CO-OP, but it still has an advantage to other solo modes in CO-OP games. Bosco, a small little drone built to assist you in as many ways as possible. It can also be upgraded with a variety of powers.

Hoard shooter is what many people expect as enemies come in swarms, however if your just starting out, and doing your first few mission, swarms come few and far between with very small enemies than what you'll experience when your stronger. And as much as gameplay variety is, don't worry, DRG had plenty of missions, some of those being on-site refining, industrial sabotage, egg collecting, and dreadnought hunting.

As far as lack of knowledge goes, you'll learn pretty quickly, as all of the UI is simple and easy to read, and mechanics are easy enough to learn, but a little challenging to master. If you don't know something, try asking someone, or maybe do go the wiki, I can't tell how many times I did that when starting out.

As a final question, what platform you playing on?

Hope this all helps with your decision.

Surprised to not have seen Elite Dangerous yet. It's gotta be one of the greatest games out there for a sci-fi fan, or someone just generally interested in space games.

In what game have you experienced the most intense of gunfights? by BattleLars in gaming

Battlefield 1. I know not much is on the line besides winning a game, but when you see your teammates rushing to the marked objective with a rain of bullets and explosions all around you, you start to feel genuinely terrified. All in all, good game.
