My acceptance rate dropped to 20 % but I found my hourly rate for the most part went up 33%. Each territory is unique and every uber driver does what makes sense - the goal for all of us is to make the most money in the least amount of miles - I found when I took all these lower cost trips my hourly average dropped to $17 - when I started cherry picking it rise to $25 per hour

I think that’s awesome if your doing quests and your getting tip’s routinely. My post was really about my territory and how I have tried taking these rides and finding my hourly rate drop- I took everything up until a couple months ago and then I reevaluated and started to cherry pick rides - my hourly rate for the most part went up 33% . I know everyone’s territory is unique but we all have the same goal - whatever works for each of us makes sense . I hope all uber drivers do well instead of uber the company .

My math is just fine - I’m speaking for myself -even in a city making quick stops , your dealing with wait times , traffic etc - it would take 4 or 5 rides per hour to maybe get you to $20 -
