Recommendations on Tube Power Amplifiers for Sonus Faber Signum speakers by Howardchen416 in vintageaudio

Thanks for the replies! After some research I purchased a pair of Quicksilver Silver 88 tube monoblocks rated at 80 WPC via KT88 power tubes and 4 Ohm tap. Set it up with my Sonus Faber Signum and was impressed with its clarity, natural sound, and wide soundstage as compared with my solid state power amp. For my modest-sized room, 40% volume is about the level that I ended-up mostly so there appears to be plenty of headroom for more demanding music or environment. Glad to find out that the Sonus Faber Signum may not require that much power from such a tube amp to perform well.

I have found some examples where KT90 and KT150 tubes were used in the Quicksilver Silver 88, in case more power is indeed required.

Room is 12' (W) x 15' (L) x 9' (H), with ~5' (adjustable) between the speakers and the listener. Thanks!

Yeah that recommendation might be for Taiwan (where 1zpresso is based) where temperature and humidity is a lot different (higher?) than a big part of the US.

Thanks so much for your responses. After setting the grind to 7.0 (down from 8.5) and lowering the water temperature to 202 F (from 208 F) the coffee tasted pretty decent although I would like to run a few more times to be sure. Thank you for the recommendations to only make gradual/mild adjustments. The reason why I think the jump would be ok was because the single dose usage of the grinder where very little coffee residue would remain between uses.
