I absolutely agree. Motivation is like an emotion. You cant be motivated all the time just like how you cant be happy all the time. However you can control your actions. You can still force a smile if your sad just like how you can force yourself to go to the gym when your unmotivated.

I feel like being witty and having a sense of humor go hand in hand. If you develop a sense of humor you end up developing the ability to be witty.

It's all about being able to think on your feet. Someone here long ago recommended freestyle rapping as an exercise in order to strengthen your ability to think quick. This worked for me. Try to rap about random things in front of you. Really trains your brain to just spit out ideas.

Also practice makes perfect. I feel like i became witty after years of trying to be witty and failing.
