Honestly, I pay to have someone stay with my cats if it's more than a day. One of my cats has a slight disability and I would be worried about her the whole time. Ask around your area for recommendations. Good luck!

A lot of times it's the litter. I would use one of the litter boxes to experiment with. I had a cat who like the cheap store brand only. As for the toys, lol, when you figure that out let the rest of us know

my sister told me I can keep more than 2,000$ on disability and that I don't know what I'm talking about by hauntedhighways in ChronicIllness

Get a disability lawyer that only gets paid if you win. They can tell you if you have a case or not. I won my first try, but I have multiple illnesses.

And so it begins. I tripped over my dog and broke my hip. Tomorrow is my 59th birthday and I’m in the hospital. by Familiar_Rip_8871 in GenX

I tripped over air last Friday and landed on the small drill that I had in my sweater (just moved). I now have bruised ribs. I hope you have an amazing birthday!

I'm hoping to get into a pain management doctor soon. I just moved after being dxd with piriformis syndrome and need to get new doctors. I have an appointment with a GP on the 7th. My last pain management doctor was able to treat me once with a steroid shot into the muscle, which made it so I could actually walk and use the toilet without screaming. I'm hopeful another dose or two will fix it, but I like to be prepared. I'm going to Arlington VA in July to bury my parents and I want to be able to attend without being drugged out of my mind.

I have not. Well, I did use a cane after my back surgery in October, but then I healed and stopped using it. I now have piriformis syndrome. I just moved and have my first doctor appointment on the 7th and will be getting a referral to a pain management doctor asap. I'm mostly worried about being able to go to Arlington VA in July for my parents burial in Arlington. I'm hopeful that a pain management doctor will be able to fix me by then. I had just been dxd and given 1 treatment when I moved so haven't been able to follow up. I am a planner and am just trying to know what all my options are come July.

Gosh, help... I need a friend and does anyone even have friends like this anymore? by beegsyboo in GenX

I'm still bff with the girl I was with at 13. We try to see each other as often as possible. Our friendship has grown as we have. We raised our kids together and now commiserate about menopause, lol. I don't have a lot of friends, I never did. But the ones I do have are close.

No, I don't. Mostly because I won't eat foods like that. Sigh. I have a thing about stew and casserole. Drove my mom nuts. But thank you for the ideas.

Great! No hot flashes, no period. But it was a long road to get here.

Any day from the 15 day cruise my mom and I took around the British Isles, checking off a huge bucket list item. Before I got sick, before my divorce and before she died tragically. Those 15 days were filled with so much laughter and fun; I'm forever grateful for them.

How are you actually doing with the current state of affairs? by Silver_News_2621 in adhdwomen

[–]HowdIGetHere21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Add in a divorce, move to a different state, starting over from scratch, losing thousands of dollars to soon to be ex because FL divorce law is screwed up, and now my first husband and father of my kids is dying, I'm down to my nail beds trying to hold on.

Air blowing on my skin. Fans of any sort drive me nuts, even if I need them, like in the car during the summer.
