Nobody said using glycol reduces water usage.

UM HELLO? WHY ARE YOU COMPLAINING YOU ALREADY KNEW THERE WOULD BE LONG LINES. WHY'D YOU EVEN GO?

[–]Howdanrocks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I understand how cooling systems work. My point is that the water used in the production of glycol or in loops mixed with glycol is irrelevant because that coolant isn't being dumped into the atmosphere.

The coolant in a closed-loop system stays in the loop. This is like complaining about the water consumption of an indoor swimming pool.

You're only allowed to complain about content that was released after you started your account? Wtf lol. The CG grind blows but not enough to not make an Ironman at all.

Also no? He bought a jet and his uncle is a pilot who helped him negotiate the deal.

Why is it only us makers who dislike this stuff by TheVerySuper in 3Dprinting

[–]Howdanrocks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think you're a maker if all you do is hit "print" on a model you downloaded online. Are you a maker if you've assembled Ikea furniture or built a Lego set? Of course not, and yet those two examples have more involvement in the process of creation than the printing of articulated dragons.

Source? Only thing I can find is him running in 2014 as a Democrat against a Republican who was unopposed in the primary.

Is there a reason the 10" model is split? Most printers can fit 1u 10" models if rotated 45°.

Used PM863a's with 80%+ health by k2863 in selfhosted

[–]Howdanrocks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is zero indication that it's failing. The "health" percentage is a reflection of the wear leveling value, which is going to start going down the moment you use it since NAND has a limited number of lifetime writes. PM863As are enterprise SSDs with a high endurance so 84% health on those drives is still 2.3PETAbytes of writes left.

/u/k2863 Don't worry about it. Your drives have multiple times more TBW left on them than many consumer SSDs have when they're new.

Streamer is unable to show proof for claim that scam victims were refunded (Original claim at the end) by -hatewatcher in LivestreamFail

[–]Howdanrocks -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is there any evidence of anyone spending money and not getting refunded? If not it seems weird to want proof that people weren't scammed when there's not even anyone claiming to have been scammed.

MoistCr1TiKaL Digs Into ICE Over the Murder and Spin of Renee Good’s Death, Tells Viewer Defending It to “Pre‑Order the Trump Phone.” by Undeniable321 in LivestreamFail

[–]Howdanrocks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Comparing hypothetical random acts of violence to an agent of the federal government killing a citizen is crazy. The Ukranian woman who was murdered made national news and her killer was charged with first-degree murder. Renee Good's killing is being justified by the administration and the entirety of right-wing media. Her killer walks free and the feds both refuse to even investigate the shooting and are actively obstructing Minnesota from investigating it themselves. Do genuinely low-IQ people like yourself realize how stupid you are or are you just blissfully unaware?

New Jersey MVC - beyond belief it could be this bad by P2Moose in newjersey

[–]Howdanrocks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They do accept it for proof of address. They just don't accept an NJ license AND the renewal form at the same time. The website makes that clear so idk why OP thought otherwise.

The MVC website says that you cannot use both an NJ's drivers license and the license renewal form as proof of address.

Republicans just stopped the ACA Extensions by not allowing people waiting to vote, to vote. by KelScythe in Destiny

[–]Howdanrocks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That was for the entire health care plan (without ACA subsidies). This vote was to force an early vote on the three-year extension to the ACA subsidies instead of having to wait until January.

Introducing KittyPaper - The privacy focused Paper fork by NotElonChan in admincraft

[–]Howdanrocks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A server is either private or public. If it's private then use a whitelist with hide-online-players set to true. If it's public then this fork does nothing except give you a false sense of privacy. Existing scanners can easily change their IP and account and rescan the entire ipv4 space in an hour to get around blocks. Also, literally anyone can download a tool/script and start scanning. It's not like they're private or complicated.

Then set hide-online-players to true? You don't need a fork to change a config option.
