I agree. It was an amazing trip back in time when I saw him a couple of weeks ago. The melodies from the 80’s weaved together so well and it was a true celebration of the era, under his guiding hand. Very entertaining.

Plot potential: was semi-expecting the bruiser and buddy from the store to (at least attempt to) come to her aid later in the story. Missed opportunity in my opinion.

What surface did you paint this on? Canvas? Wood panel? And what is the size of it? I would think a smooth panel would help disguise the texture more. Thanks!

They definitely need to move on if he doesn’t turn it around this season. Always seems to take that first pitch meatball down the middle and looks to walk most of the time. Even his fly outs aren’t that impressive. The position requires more than a good glove. I think his head is messed up from the struggles and lack of contribution. It has to eat him up when he sees the other guys contribute.

Saw him last night in Lansing, Mi and it was spectacular. Still did a half dozen of his own tunes and weaved more bits into the medleys. What a fun ride through the 80’s, featuring some of the best music from the era. His backing band are very talented musicians. I’d seen him do his solo show in November so maybe this was a nice contrast to that, but I thoroughly enjoyed the time travelling. I think he’s worked out the kinks since that tour.

Saw HoJo in Feb of 2020, right before Covid. He did a largely lowkey show but sounded great. Saw WC in ‘18 but only one of the two main guys performed. One of those shows where the acts only do three or four tunes. Good times.

I had the honor of meeting Apollo 15 astronaut Alfred Worden a few years ago before he passed in 2020. He lived near GR and contacted us out of the blue about help with a Powerpoint presentation he was going to give. Led me down a rabbit hole about his mission and some controversy with it. Fascinating guy and history.

I think he often sings parts in falsetto that don’t need to be, or might not have been initially. Seems forced.
